Admiral Twin
Formed in 1996, Admiral Twin has released five CDs to date including 2000’s critically praised Mock Heroic on Mojo/Universal Records, 2003 Creatures of Bread and Wine, and their latest release Center of the Universe on the Pop Collective Label. Since 1998, the band has performed for well over 500,000 concert-goers across North America. Extensive touring of North America, starting in the late nineties, gained them fans for their distinctive style.
An active fountain of original pop rock music that is constantly fresh is a signature of this group. Each song is catchy in it’s own unique way, allowing the band to not fall into a pit of repetitious banality that has tolled the end of many a shooting star. Instead one is left with a curiosity of what is next, whereupon their interest is again rewarded.
The Twin is a trio, but with a much larger sound than its sum thanks to the skillful harmonies of all three members. The instrumental side of the band includes Jarrod Gollihare on drums, Mark Carr on bass and John Russell guitar.
Admiral Twin came to the consciousness of hundreds of thousands of fans in the 90’s when they were the North American opening act for the hugely successful Hanson tour. They have also prepared audiences for many other acts including Everlast, Cake, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Joan Jett, Reel Big Fish, Fastball and Echo and the Bunnymen.
